BINGO! Midshipmen Enjoy a Fun Night at Delano Hall

KINGS POINT, N.Y., May 20, 2016 - On Wednesday night, over two hundred students participated in Midshipmen Bingo in Delano Hall. Presented by the Office of Student Activities and the Company Morale Officers, it was the first event of its kind at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

Midshipmen Honored for Academic Excellence in the Classroom and at Sea

KINGS POINT, N.Y., May 17, 2015 – U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Superintendent Rear Adm. James A. Helis joined the faculty and staff for an awards ceremony to congratulate 262 midshipmen for their outstanding accomplishments in the classroom and at sea Monday.

The midshipmen were honored with Academic Gold and Silver Stars for the second academic term of Academic Year 2016 and Sea Year Ribbons.

Applications for the Class of 2030 open on 1 May 2025
