KINGS POINT, N.Y., May 24, 2016 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) at Kings Point celebrated National Maritime Day, yesterday. The day was filled with events that highlighted the critical role that the U.S. maritime industry has played since the infancy of our nation.
The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy’s (USMMA) Mariners Chorus joined the Glee Clubs of the U.S. Naval Academy and U.S. Coast Guard to perform at the National Maritime Awards Dinner at the National Press Club, Washington D.C.
KINGS POINT, N.Y., May 20, 2016 - On Wednesday night, over two hundred students participated in Midshipmen Bingo in Delano Hall. Presented by the Office of Student Activities and the Company Morale Officers, it was the first event of its kind at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
