KINGS POINT, N.Y. August 12, 2016 - The U. S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) will host its Summer Open House for prospective candidates on Monday, August 26th. 

The event will provide information related to academics, regimental life, training, support programs, and career opportunities.  In addition, Admissions Representatives will explain USMMA's unique admissions process.  Faculty and Staff will be available to respond to additional questions that you may have.

Anticipated Program Schedule:

0730 – 0830     Registration (Admissions Building)

0840 – 1000     Welcome & Presentations (Ackerman Auditorium), Superintendent, Academic Dean, Commandant, Athletic Director, Shipboard Training, Student Activities

1010 – 1050     Admission Process Presentation

1100 – 1200     Information Tables (Bowditch Hall), Service Branches, Athletics/Waterfront, Band, Academics, Parents Association, Financial Aid, Naval Science
