KINGS POINT, N.Y., May 27, 2016 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) Regimental Band, "George M. Cohan's Own", and Color Guard will march in the 92nd Annual Great Neck Memorial Day Parade, and Superintendent Rear Adm. James A. Helis, USMS, will serve as Grand Marshal.

In accepting the honor, Helis expressed his appreciation and is “proud to represent those who serve and have served in our armed forces, especially those who have made the supreme sacrifice for our nation.”

Great Neck's Memorial Day Parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Susquehanna Avenue and Middle Neck Road, concluding at the Village Green.
