The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) is in the process of drafting a Programmatic Agreement (PA) between USMMA, the New York State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP), regarding campus operations, maintenance, and development activities for compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (NHPA), as amended (54 U.S.C. §300101). In accordance with the NHPA and its implementing regulations, 36 C.F.R. § 800.14(b)(2)(ii), USMMA is inviting the public to comment on the draft PA.
