USMMA Color Guard, Drill Team and Regimental Band to March in NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade

KINGS POINT, N.Y., March 15, 2018 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) Regimental Band, "George M. Cohan's Own", will march in New York City’s 257th St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Fifth Avenue, in Manhattan.

The parade, which is the world’s oldest and largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade, will be held on Saturday, March 17, starting at 11 a.m. This year’s Grand Marshall is Loretta Brennan Glucksman, co-founder of Glucksman Ireland House at New York University and Chair Emeritus of the American Ireland Fund.

The Parade starts at 44th Street, and participants will march up to 79th Street.  The first four hours of the parade will be televised on WNBC, Channel 4 in New York. It will also available on the parade's website and  NBC’s Live Stream: St. Patrick’s Day 2018.
