Girl Scouts of Nassau County (GSNC) delivering their world famous cookies to the Midshipmen of the US Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). This donation is part of GSNC’s Operation Cookie program and is supported by the generosity of their cookie buyers including a Girl Scout family, who made a donation in honor of Roxie DeStafney.   Roxie is the late wife of Captain Bob DeStafney, USMMA’s Commandant of Midshipmen.  More than 60,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies® have been donated this year to bring a “Taste of Home” to US military serving here at home and around the world.”
