Visiting USMMA

Visiting the Academy

Visitors to the United States Merchant Marine Academy are welcome when the Academy is open for normal operations. The Academy grounds, museum, and Navy Exchange are open to the general public throughout the year, Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the exception of federal holidays and the summer and winter leave periods. Additionally, the campus is occasionally affected by current or unique campus events, and while the scheduled hours above are a good guideline, it is always best to call and confirm the operating status before coming.

Tours are based on the purpose of your visit and can be arranged by contacting the appropriate department.
