After receiving her MBA from Baruch college of City University of New York, Dr. Wei started her career at a Wall Street firm. As an assistant vice president, she has many years of finance-related experiences in foreign equity exchange, institutional equity trading, and corporate treasury.
Prior to joining USMMA, Dr. Wei had previously taught at Baruch College, Lehman College, York College, and community colleges of CUNY. She taught a wide range of courses such as Business Statistics, Corporate Finance, Principles and Intermediate Economics, International Economics, History of Economics, Money and Banking, Management, Computer Application in Business and Risk Management. Her research interests include international trade, Asian economic development and financial globalization. Her research papers have been presented in conferences and published in academic journals.
Dr. Hsinrong Wei and her husband Marcos with three children reside in Forest Hills, New York.
