“We appreciate and value our Midshipmen every day,” said Rear Admiral James A. Helis, Superintendent.,“but on Midshipman Appreciation Day we recognize their dedication to excellence and commitment to service by providing them with an evening of fun.”
The midshipmen, joined by faculty and staff, enjoyed live music, carnival food and many activities. Highlights included the inflatable rock climbing wall and human foosball game.
“The rock climbing event was a lot of fun and the food was great,” said Midshipman Helen Deal, 2/c. “It was an appreciated escape from the regiment for an afternoon.” First Classman Alex Cline agreed, saying, “The midshipmen look forward to this day every year. It is a great way to let off some steam and relax with your friends.”
