Midshipmen Bring Kings Pointer to Dry Dock

KINGS POINT, N.Y., January 23, 2015 - Earlier this month, CAPT Adam Donohoe and eighteen midshipmen brought the T/V Kings Pointer to Bayonne Dry Dock.

Over the next few weeks the vessel will complete a United States Coast Guard Dry-Dock Exam, Internal Structural Exam and an American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Special Periodical Survey. The vessel hull will also be blasted and painted, underwater markings added to facilitate UWILD inspections. The vessel will return to USMMA no later than the first week of March.
