Army Helicopters Land at USMMA

KINGS POINT, N.Y., May 27, 2014 - Today, three Army OH-58 D (R) helicopters visited the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. The helicopters from Ft. Drum, N.Y. landed a little after noon and remained on campus for about two hours. The officers aboard met with midshipmen, faculty and staff. The Officer in Charge, First Lieutenant Ryan S. Perruquet, Class of 2009 told midshipmen how his experience at Kings Point led him to a successful career as an Army aviator.
